Item Description
Pair of 5" tall figures made of unknown blend of resin-like materials. 1946 Fawcett premium by Kerr Company. Each stands on base w/either "Capt. Marvel Jr." or "Mary Marvel" name incised on front. Mary Marvel is version w/lt. hair and yellow chest emblem/belt. Figure was also made w/dark hair and/or red dress w/red emblem/belt. Kerr also made larger plastic "statuette" figures of these characters as well as Captain Marvel and Hoppy the Marvel Bunny (see items #2073-2076). Kerr decal on bottom of Captain Marvel Jr. figure is complete while decal on underside of Mary Marvel figure has sliver off right edge, about 95% remains. While a number of these have surfaced over the past few years, these examples are in choice, Exc. condition and much nicer than these figures are typically found. Ex-Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with COA.
