Item Description
Pair of 36" long boxes w/commemorative model 1938B produced by Daisy in 1989. Boxes have art image on front/back w/Red Ryder and Little Beaver on horseback at left side and art image of rifle at right side. Front panel has attached large sticker w/text "Red Ryder Classic Free Comic Book With Purchase Of Red Ryder Classic BB Gun". Comes w/16 page reprint comic ©1938/1943 which reproduces cartoonist creator Fred Harman's early Sunday pages. Back cover has nice facsimile ad for 1,000 Shot Red Ryder Carbine. Box is missing instruction book. A few color rubs around edges but box is o/w bright and VF/Exc. Gun is Mint as issued. Comic has a few lt. creases at top edge but overall VF. Second gun comes w/"Free 5000 BB Strong Box" factory-sealed cardboard box of BBs. BB label is a bit worn and box has 1.25" puncture to main panel and some edge creases. Fine overall w/contents Mint as issued.
