Item Description
Early 1940s battery-operated lighter has overall size of 3x3x4.5" tall. Bakelite plastic base w/attached solid plated cast metal Superman figure which itself is 3" tall. Complete w/the pull-out cylindrical flame unit. Battery box interior complete and clean however we were not able to get the lighter to work. Complete w/underside panel featuring company information. Tiny trace of wear/aging to Superman figure upon close inspection, but near full luster remains and lighter is Exc. overall. A rare Superman item marketed to adults. Franco Toscanini Collection.
