Two different complete sets by Musette Records (distributed by Continental Music), ©1947 National Comics Publications Inc. Sets are #1 and #2. Each is 7.25x7.75" 12-page book w/flap on inside front cover that holds two 7" dia. blue vinyl records in #1 and two 7" dia. cardboard records in #2. Set #1 is titled "The Flying Train," #2 is titled "Magic Ring." Records feature original Superman radio show cast. Each book features full color story art plus text to be followed along w/on records. First set's records have small Superman image and comic book logo on record labels. Second set's records have spiral design w/planets and same label design. Both have scattered traces of wear and lt. aging. First booklet has remnant of original store price sticker on cover. Fine overall. Each comes w/original mailer envelope w/"Superman" return addresses. These show scattered wear and are Fine overall. The blue vinyl records are more scarce than the cardboard records. Comes w/rare 7.5x8.5" retailer's promotional ad sheet w/Superman graphic and images of both record sets. Lower left has some handling wear but VF overall. Franco Toscanini Collection.
