Item Description
16x24.5x12" tall wooden riding toy that has been painted to look like horse w/"Davy Crockett" coonskin cap, rifle and powder horn logo on sides of neck. 1950s. Painted wood on walnut frame w/metal loops at ends of "legs," designed to hang from frame and sway/buck back and forth. Scattered paint wear to horse's head and aging to wood. Metal loops have oxidized. VG/Fine. First we've seen of this style in our 48 years.
