Item Description
14x22" thin cardboard window card for 1955 re-release of the 1936 anti-marijuana film (also released as "The Marijuana Story"). This is for showing at Edwight Theatre in Edwight, WV. Card touts film as "Divulging Heretofore Unheard Of Orgies Of Youth's Dissipation - Sensative (sic) Lovely Girls Made Hard And Brittle By Marihuana - A Puff Of Smoke Changed Their Lives - Disclosing Facts Of A Dangerous Drug And Its Effects" and features illustration of young woman w/unzipped skirt twirling her shirt over her head, a bra strap askew. Pair of .25" insect tunnels at left center and obvious moisture staining along bottom margin and up left/right margins. Staple holes at top and 1/16" hole at bottom (at woman's knee). Horizontal crease at center. Good/VG overall. Scarce.
