Item Description
17x25-7/8" thin cardboard window card for March 15, 1946 burlesque performance at the Buffalo, NY. Palace Burlesk theater, headlined by "World Famous Dancer Of The Serpents" Zorita, the original bad girl of burlesque, and the dancer who popularized the use of live snakes in burlesque performances. Card features full body photo image of Zorita in sheer dress, holding large snake aloft over her head. Allied Printing. Card is evenly aged and has been folded into eighths w/noticeable fold lines. These lines have some scattered restoration/touch-ups along them w/bottom center having 1" replaced square. Top center has also has restoration to .25" hole in "Burlesk" name in marquee area. Still displays Fine overall. Scarce.
