4.25x6.5x5.75" tall painted and glazed ceramic figurine depicts Figaro the cat (from Disney's "Pinocchio") asleep in bed. c. 1940. Underside has "Geppetto Pottery" mark. Wonderfully detailed, Figaro's bed has three goldfish design on headboard and footboard while backside of headboard has great angelic winged cat w/halo over its head standing on cloud. One tiny glaze nick on front bed edge but o/w bright, glossy and Exc. One of the very best and most sought after of Walt Disney ceramic pieces.
