Matching pair 7.5" tall all wood w/removable lids. Totally unmarked but most likely European. 1930s. Nice Deco designs consisting of triangular body atop curved platform base. Lacquered wood, each has image on front panels, one of Mickey Mouse (who appears to be whistling), the other shows Minnie Mouse dancing. Interiors show scattered dust soiling. Exteriors have scattered aging, some minor hairlines in the wood, small edge flakes. Main Minnie panel has three .25" edge flakes w/vertical hairline running through center. Other non-illustrated panels have surface crazing. However, both remain structurally sound. Fine overall. Only the second set we've offered in our 48 years, the last (in better condition) selling for $840.
