Item Description
Pair of large format BLB-like books published by Saalfield, ©1936 Charles Scribner's Sons. Both feature alternating text pages w/movie stills from the the 1936 film adaptation (which starred Freddie Bartholomew) of Frances Hodgson Burnett's novel "Little Lord Fauntleroy." Story was adapted by Helen Hoerle. Hardcover version is #1118 and shows just trace wear. Pages are evenly aged to cream in color. VF/NM. High grade example. Softcover is #1598 and has scattered wear w/slight ripple to spine surface. Pages are aged to cream in color w/title page having 3" vertical tear. Aside from this, still a VF example. Scarce title.
