Item Description
Pair of large format BLBs, both versions printed by Whitman, ©1934-1935. BLBs feature alternating text pages and stills from the films they were adapted from. First is "The Lost Patrol" #753, based on the 1934 RKO Radio Picture that starred Victor McLaglen, Boris Karloff, Wallace Ford, Reginald Denny, J.M. Kerrigan and Alan Hale. Adapted for the film by Kenneth Hallam from the story "Patrol" by Phillip MacDonald. 74 stills. Second is "West Point Of The Air" #1164, based on the 1935 film that starred Wallace Beery. Scattered lt. wear/aging. Books are still tight and clean w/pages aged to cream in color. Both are VF/NM. High grade examples. Scarce titles. Rogers M. Fred, Jr. BLB & Related Collection.
