Pair of 1930s dolls. Wolf doll is 17" tall and has high quality mohair body w/felt top hat, gloves and pants w/suspenders and patches. Wolf's teeth, tongue nose and area around glass eyes are also felt. This doll was made by Spanish doll maker Ernesto-Cahn. This company made a wonderful line of Disney authorized dolls in the 1930s for sale only in Europe. All are rare as production was low .Their only markings were string tags, this dolls tag is missing. Also at some point his bushy tail got broken off. Head and arms move and legs have wire inside for posing. Evenly aged and Fine/VF overall. First we've offered of any of these dolls in our 48 years. Comes w/7.25" Pig doll, a licensed Disney item produced by Krueger and from set of Three Little Pigs dolls. Stitched nose and mouth w/felt eyes. Doll is missing clothing and surface has scattered aging w/about half of doll having faint moisture staining. VG.
