Item Description
Complete basic set of 12 pieces measuring between 1" and 4.5" tall. Made by GEM Clay Forming Company for distribution by both sponsors of the Tarzan radio show and others. 1932. Includes Tarzan w/Cheetah (this is first version w/o name on base), Kala holding baby Tarzan, Jane Porter, Numa the Lion, Sheeta the Panther, Witch Doctor, Pirate w/treasure chest, Lt. D'Arnot and Monkey Trio (which were counted as a single item and shipped in same box). Missing Cannibal Warrior from basic Fould's set. As a bonus, comes w/Princess La figure from the rare extended set. Numa the Lion has nice air-brushed paint job whereas other are unpainted for the most part. Tarzan has trace paint to outfit. Jane Porter, Lt. D'Arnot and Princess La have lt. pink coating/aging. Rest have scattered aging/dust soiling. No chips or cracks. Numa, Jane Porter and Princess La are Exc. Rest are Fine/VF. Three "Foulds' Directions" panels were needed for each statue. The perfect set to have painted to your specifications.
