Large 12.75x35.5x17" tall wood rocking toy by Mengel Co., who produced different items of this nature including swinging and rocker toys, table and chair sets, etc. © Walt Disney Enterprises, 1930s. Same design appears on each side, depicting Mickey Mouse floating on his back in water. Chair back has complete "Mengel Playthings" elephant decal and toy features wooden bar handle that has attached wooden tray that swings. Toy has some scattered wear in the form of some paint rubs (more on foot board). Fine overall. Nice display piece. Rare and first we've offered in our 48 years. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
