4.75" tall (7.5" tall to top of raised handle) tin litho sand pail made by HMF and distributed in Germany by Winsenia - Wilhelm Reuss GmbH & Co. food company and originally held plum jam/marmalade. 1950s. Pail has "Winsenia" name at top and "Marmelade - Konfiture" text at bottom. Exterior is decorated w/images of Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, two of his Nephews, Goofy and Fifer Pig. Base rim has some scattered oxidation and gold luster interior shows moderate scattered loss. Fine overall, but exterior remains bright and glossy and displays nicely.
