Item Description
15x22". Featuring beautiful charcoal portraits by Atlanta based artist Kofi Bailey. Among the dramatic depictions is that of Martin Luther King. The SCLC commissioned this poster in 1968 prior to King's assassination to promote the Poor People's Campaign. Additional text at lower right reads "Southern Christian Leadership Conference Martin Luther King Jr., President 334 Auburn Ave., N.E. Atlanta Ga., 30303 Telephone (404) 552-1420".
