Original 7x14.75" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid has "Safe - Soft - Flexible - Non-Marking" text on side. Bottom right corner has "Roy Rogers Pledge To Parents." Ohio Art. c. 1950. Lid has moderate color rubs along edges/at corners and has two corner splits, box bottom has one corner split. VG. Box contains two 7" dia. tin litho bases w/illustrations of Roy Rogers and Trigger and two 3" long threaded metal posts in their original envelope plus two red and two black 4.5x5" hard rubber horseshoes that read "Roy Rogers - Trigger Lucky Horseshoe" and have the "RR" brand on each end. Unused and aside from some lt. wear to edge of one base, set is NM. Hard to find a cleaner example of this set.
