See previous item #2008. 11-7/8x17.5x1-5/8" deep display frame w/brass rod holders and cloth bkg. holds highest quality, non-firing replica of legendary Wild West figure Wild Bill Hickok's trusted sidearm, a recreation of his 1851 .36 Colt Navy revolver. Issued by The Franklin Mint in 1988, underside of grip has stamped "138813" number. Does not include original box or paperwork. 13" long heavy metal replica six-shooter w/ivory plastic grips (left side has raised eagle clutching "Liberty") has been electroplated in 22K gold around handle/trigger guard and features extensive scroll work to the base of barrel, frame, cylinder (featuring Navy scene) and hammer, even on outside of trigger guard and underside of handle. Gun replica is Exc. Display frame has engraved brass plaque that includes "United States Marshal" badge design and reads "The Wild Bill Hickok Revolver - United States Marshals Foundation Official Issue." Frame shows lt. scattered wear w/cloth bkg. showing more moderate wear as gun has rubbed against. VF.
