Item Description
10x15x2" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains complete set No. 6500. c. 1950s. Box lid has concave warp and moisture staining at corner split. Scattered wear/aging, VG/Fine overall. All cast metal set includes - Boeing Stratocruiser (w/some paint wear/aging and minor wing bend), North American Ryan Navion, Lockheed Constellation, Twin-Engine Convair and 235 gas tanker truck. Missing F86 Sabre Jet as factory-issued. All are free-wheeling w/rubber tires. Set also includes two stairs, three-piece luggage train (consisting of tractor and two luggage carts) and two 1x2.25" winged badges, one w/"Pan American Airways - Master Pilot" decal, the other w/"Pan American Airways - Stewardess" decal. Aside from Stratocruiser, contents are NM/Mint as issued on original cardboard insert.
