Item Description
8.75x11.25". c. 1972. Newsprint booklet titled "The Road To San Diego" and featuring a 17.5x22" center poster "Evict Nixon Phase 1" featuring Nixon sitting on White House lawn surrounded by 'baggage' including; "My-Lai", "Murders Of Fred Hampton, Kent State 4, George Jackson, Etc., Etc..." and at right "Attica Massacre". A vivid example of the cross over between the Civil Rights and Anti- Vietnam war movements. Vertical fold at center and faint trace of horizontal fold though this example was likely flattened not long after its printing. A 2" vertical tear just left of center at the bottom edge not affecting the interior centerfold. Also, a single 1.5" tear repaired by archival tape. Much age toning of fragile newsprint. Fine/VF. Scarce.
