From same series as previous item #1240. Pair of 7.5" tall full figures standing atop bases designed like a star. Facsimile signature incised on base. Slightly larger figurine is in matching color to Bob Hope figurine (see previous item #1240), w/brown pants and tie, green jacket and dark green shirt. Nearly full "Wilfred Enterprises - Hollywood, Calif." maker's mark on underside. Complete "Hollywood Ceramics - Handmade And Decorated - Los Angeles, Cal." foil sticker on back. Smaller figurine has blue pants, yellow jacket, darker blue shirt and colorful tie. Unmarked aside from inked price on unglazed bottom. In addition to this and previous item, we have seen one other figure from the series - Gene Autry (see item #2014). Both are glossy and Exc. Great likeness.
