4" long coal car w/attached composition Mickey Mouse figure that is jointed at waist and holds metal shovel in hands. Back of car is marked "Mickey Mouse Stoker" and has Walt Disney copyright as well as "Made In U.S. Of America - Pat. Applied For" text. Lionel, c. 1935. The Lionel Mickey Circus set as well as four different Lionel freight and passenger sets were issued w/this car. Complete w/coupler for attaching to other train cars in the sets. These Mickey figures were animated by wire that passes over track, giving them the appearance of shoveling coal into engine. Scattered paint wear to figure w/trace of wear to edges of tin litho car. Pair of tiny dents to one side, only noticeable in reflected light. Fine overall.
