Item Description
2.5" tall and 2.5" dia. Late 19th century. Creamwear mug with mulberry colored transfer reading "To Washington The Patriot Of America". Additional pair of transfers each featuring a profile of an American eagle with wings spread in flight, shield at breast, and crossed flags beneath. Base has 1.5" chip. 1.75" vertical hairline crack left of front transfer not interfering with any of the three transfers. Also a 1" hairline crack right of front transfer affecting the top of one of the eagle transfers. Good. Scarce.
