Item Description
All three are 1.25”. First two as issued without back papers are Hake #35 and Hake #3189. These are NM and display Mint. The coattail is Hake #88. Light oxidation on the back plus a union bug back stamp. Couple of tiny age dots around the outer edge but overall still displays very cleanly. Pictured are “Wilson/Glynn” with the slogan reading “Peace In The Nation/Prosperity In The State/Friends OF The People.” Upon Sulzer’s impeachment, Glynn became the first Catholic New York governor. This button was from his unsuccessful 1914 reelection campaign. Button still has full gloss. It’s Hake 2004 guide value is $250. Julie Powell Collection.
