Item Description
The Alternate badge picturing Thomas Jefferson is 4.5” tall. Convention was held in Chicago. Slightest trace of tone on the ribbon but NM. Second is 2” long perforated and gummed stamp with jugate portraits of FDR and Garner flanked on the left by “A New Deal” and on the right “A Square Deal.” Additional slogan is “Repeal And Employment.” Tiny text on bottom margin reads “One Cent Was Paid For This Stamp To An Unemployed Person.” NM. Next is classic FDR portrait button with slogan “Sweeping The Depression Out.” From 1932 and NM displaying Mint. Last is 1.25” brass coin with jugate images of “Roosevelt/Garner” on the front along with 1936 date and text “Lucky Coin/Heads You Win.” Reverse shows rear end of an elephant with slogan “Tails You Lose/1936.” Traces of original brighter luster with otherwise clean brass surfaces.
