Item Description
2.25x6.5". c. 1908. Brass badge holds "Bryan & Chanler" insert and has attached ribbon featuring a Tammany star and reads "Tammany Hall 30th Assembly District Reception Committee". Lewis Stuyvesant Chanler was elected Lt. Gov. of New York in 1906. He challenged Charles E. Hughes in 1908 for the Governor's seat but was defeated. .5" hairline tear at bottom just left of union bug and not affecting design. VF.
