2” tall beautifully designed and embossed pin picturing a Theodore Roosevelt inspired bear dressed as a school teacher with Pince Nez eyeglasses on his nose and a black board pointer in his hands. Reverse has vertical stickpin. A few very tiny traces of paint wear. Among the three nicest we’ve seen. c. 1912 or earlier. A classic among the presidential-inspired advertising specialty items. Light oxidation on the blank reverse but the front is glossy and Exc. Our last this nice realized $250.
