Auction #215 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 987 in auction 215
Value Code:
H/I - $200 to $700 Help Icon
Item Description
2-1/8” with silvering 98% intact. A beautifully colored mirror showing motorman at the front of his trolley to which is attached at track level a scoop like device to do for humans what a cow catcher did for trains: I.E. throw the object off the track instead of running over it. Lower edge names maker “The Consolidated Car Fender Co., Providence, R.I.” Some extremely minor bumpiness to the surface mentioned for full accuracy but so minimal. Beautiful color and high gloss. A few auctions back we had one of these items with the mirror broken out and then converted to a pin-back and even in this form it realized in excess of $200. NM displaying Mint.
