Item Description
1.75” with large text on back paper “Compliments Of Doutrich’s Official Boy Scout Outfitters.” Tiny nick on bottom edge of back paper. Celluloid is essentially Mint as issued with incredible color and high gloss. Shows one scout with signal flags while another holds binoculars, both on a rocky outcrop. Text around “1st Annual Boy Scout Celebration Schuylkill County.” We know from an example for the “Sixth Annual” event which was dated 1923 that this button dates from the 1918 first event. The only example we’ve seen.
