Item Description
These litho tin tabs are 1-9/16” to 3-1/16” tall. The first two are from the mid-1970s, probably issued in Puerto Rico, and both picturing Clemente. Text is in Spanish with the first translating to “Lions International/Roberto Clemente Monument.” Second is Cooperate/Sports City. First is Mint while second has very slight ripple at the base of the stem and a couple of pinpoints of paint wear. Next is large tab picturing frozen confections on sticks and reading “Honorary Roger Maris/Gold Mine Booster.” Tiny ripple on the stem base and slightest traces of paint wear. Next is large tab for “Early Wynn 300 Club.” Very slight ripple at base stem and the slightest trace of a dent on extreme left edge. Exc. paint. Next in color photo has reverse text “Thurman Munson Sports Photo Associates” plus an address and phone number in Hawthorne New Jersey. Small bit of discoloration on the reverse with front displaying NM. Last reads “Whitey’s Team” and shows Weitelmann in his role as a coach of the San Diego Padres. Tiny ripple at stem base and very minor discoloration on reverse. All display cleanly and with gloss. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
