Item Description
The bracelet is brass and 7” long with charms of a glove, bat and ball as issued. This was a 1935-36 premium from his Quaker cereals sponsored club. Quite scarce. VF. Next is a 15/16” brass medallion showing him in classic bat swinging pose with surrounding text “The Babe Ruth Foundation Sportsmanship Award.” Reverse has center panel where a name could be engraved but this is blank. Reverse repeats group name and adds “In Honor Of Babe Ruth Whose Contribution To American Youth Will Live Forever.” c. 1960s. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
