Item Description
2-7/8x5" ticket or palm card advertising the speaking event "A Legal And Moral View Of Constitutional Equality" and dated "February 16th, 1871". Very minor handling wear otherwise NM. Hooker and Woodhall were major figures in the women's suffrage movement. Woodhall was the first female candidate for president in 1872. The efforts of both women helped establish the suffrage movement as more than a fringe group and into a major lobby. A rare artifact featuring two important figures on the road to equal suffrage.
