Item Description
2x4.5x3.5" tall cardboard slipcase. © 1972. Red styrene plastic hinge display case holds 1.25" dia. chrome metal wristwatch w/illustration of Georgia governor and early strong opponent of desegregation Lester Maddox. Illustration includes Maddox on bicycle w/facsimile signature to left. Individual letters "Lester/Maddox" serve as hour markings. Additional dial text reads "The Official Lester Maddox Watch." Original black leather strap/foil tag. One side of slip case has black ink inscription "Best Wishes Lester Maddox". Second item is alarm clock version of wrist watch differing only on face where Maddox is saying "Wake Up America". Top of clock is signed and inscribed "Best Wishes Lester Maddox". Both items are essentially Mint. Comes w/Hake's COA.
