This is the actual premium advertised by previous items #2416-2417. 5.5x14" illustrated mailing envelope contains complete 1944 Grape-Nut Flakes premium. Envelope has printing on both sides, including detailed instructions and additional order coupons. 1.25x1.75" piece of end flap missing, o/w envelope is clean and none of the printing is affected and still displays VF. Set consists of four 5x13.25" stiff paper punch-out sheets w/punch-outs for Para-Plane as well as a pair of "Code Signal Blinkers." Stiff paper sheet for "Launching Tube" and a color paper sheet for "Rescue Helicopter." Other parts include 9" long "Launching Stick" and sheet of red rayon fabric for parachute. Sheets have just the slightest trace of aging and all remain unused and NM. Rare premium. Originally obtained at the 1996 Christie's auction of Gold Archive items.
