Item Description
7/8" club button c. early 1930, first year of existence. We had a "Fox" variety in Auction #187 but that was without word "CALIFORNIA" and copyright symbol. Very earliest Mickey image that includes U-shaped pants buttons, a design used very briefly before being replaced by Studio-approved Mickey image that appears on next two Mickey Mouse Club officer's buttons. No backpaper as issued. Age dots around reverse collet with light dots mixed in with the front rim text. Still with full gloss. Rare.
