Item Description
Complete set of three regular format BLB titles published by Whitman for Alley Oop. Titles/numbers/dates include - "Alley Oop - The Invasion Of Moo" (NN - Cocomalt premium imprint on back cover) 1935, "Alley Oop And Dinny" (763) 1935, "Alley Oop And Dinny In The Jungles Of Moo" (1473) 1938. All feature art by Alley Oop creator V.T. Hamlin. The premium BLB was only issued as a softcover, no hardcover version published. Premium shows moderate color rubs to spine w/edge/corner tip wear and pages are aged to cream in color but has never been fully opened. VG/Fine. "Alley Oop And Dinny" has some corner tip wear to cover and pages have aged to lt. cream in color, but book has never been fully opened. VF+. "Alley Oop And Dinny In The Jungles Of Moo" has some minor corner tip wear w/wear at top/bottom of spine. Pages have aged to lt. cream in color. Still a tight copy. VF.
