Item Description
Complete set of three BTLB titles published by Whitman for The Shadow. Titles/numbers/dates include - "The Shadow And The Living Death" (1430) 1940, "The Shadow And The Master Of Evil" (1443 - Flip Book) 1941, "The Shadow And The Ghost Makers" (1495 - Flip Book) 1942. All feature stories by The Shadow author Maxwell Grant. "The Shadow And The Living Death" has some corner tip wear to covers and pages have aged to lt. cream in color. Still tight and VF overall. "The Shadow And The Master Of Evil" has some minor corner tip wear to cover and pages have aged to lt. cream in color though edges have aging/dust soiling. 3/8" tear at top of spine on back. Fine. "The Shadow And The Ghost Makers" shows more moderate aging and corner tip wear. Penciled name inside front cover. Pages have aged to lt. cream in color. VG/Fine.
