8x13x2" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid label contains set of eight bisques distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt Corporation. ©1938 Walt Disney Enterprises. This is the second-largest of four sizes for the standard bisques produced, bottom of box is marked "64/2880." Snow White is 5.25" tall while the Dwarfs are each about 4" tall. Lid label features art that does not have the typical polished Disney style. Box is complete w/original cardboard dividers. Lid has tape added at two corners and box bottom has partial corner split. VG/Fine. Bisques have scattered lt. paint wear (more moderate to tips of Doc's feet). Grumpy has 1/8" hole under arm as produced. All others are VF/Exc. overall. Scarce as boxed.
