Item Description
First is a white metal encasement finished in brass luster 1.75” diameter plus a short handle. The piece is quite thick at 3/8”. Pictured is a full figure Uncle Sam with pick axe and shovel posed with North American continent and canal area behind him. Small bits of luster loss but still extremely Fine. Silvering 100%. Second is 2-1/8” mirror with 94% silvering. Outer edges between eight o’clock and four o’clock have some scattered dark stain blending fairly well with the red rim but the vast majority of the piece is in quite stunning color showing Ferris wheel but with text “’I Love My Dime, But Oh! You Big Eli Wheel.’” Tiny text above the wheel “Built By Eli Bridge Co., Roodhouse, Ill. U.S.A.” with text below “Operated By Hoff & Lynch San Diego Exposition.” A rarity.
