Auction #215 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 987 in auction 215
Item Description
Both of these pieces are known in both a button and mirror format but in both cases they were suspended from a brass hanger with fabric ribbon below. The Opening Day example had the word “Participant” on the ribbon while on the closing day example the ribbon carried the date of December 4, 1915. While these do not have the ribbon or hanger they are in otherwise nice condition. The Opening Day example has just a little faint spotting to the cream background. Silvering about 97%. The Closing Day example is totally clean and glossy and with about 98% silvering.
