Item Description
Most are 7/8” with one smaller at .75”. First button has W&H back paper used 1900-1912. Same applies to the second button. The four buttons in row 2 are all litho tin with the first two having covered metal backs and fixed horizontal bar pins while the second two have open backs with back papers. First in row 3 is a litho button. Remaining buttons are all celluloid with exception of last item in row 4. Going back to row 3 buttons #3 and #4 are the only two in the group showing age staining. The first of these is c. 1912 but no paper while the second is c. 1920 with Bastian paper and with rust on the reverse collet. Last item in row 3 and first three items in row 4 all have Bastian papers. Last item in row 4 and first two items in row 5 do not have papers while the next has a paper from Offset Gravure and the group finishes with the litho which does not have a paper. A nice group with majority displaying Mint.
