Item Description
10x11.5" artboard has 8x8.5" image area done in mixed media for a late 1970s book cover. Large title circle has "Walter Lantz - Woody Woodpecker" title w/line for subtitle. Art depicts Woody Woodpecker in cap and jacket running away from three errant rockets that fly about psychedelic-looking bkg. "Alt. Cov." pencil text at top notes this as an alternate cover, but we are unsure for what exact book. Additional inked text at top right, not affecting art, which remains Exc. Would look great framed.
