Item Description
First is his 1941 portrait ring given by American Specialty Co. of Lancaster, PA for selling Christmas cards and seed packs. This apparently had bright silver flashing but only a few traces of that remain and the rest of the finish is a metallic black. Sides show hat, lasso and horseshoe along with his name while top has high relief exacting portrait. Second is gold base plastic ring with inset real glossy photo without dot pattern. These were sold off cards in stores and included numerous western personalities and TV stars. NM displaying Mint. Last is a plastic box holding ring with narrow brass band and shield shaped top reading “Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum.” This ring is from the early opening years and would no longer be available as since then the museum has undergone two name changes.
