Item Description
1948 Ralston premium. The mailer has “Premium Library” label and item was sold in the 1980s auction of the General Mills Premium Archive. Item consists of 1.5” long plastic arrowhead-shaped signal whistle with a shirt clip on the reverse. This joins by metal link chain to a 2” long plastic gun with metal magnetic barrel. Gun can be used as a compass by suspending the barrel which always points to the North. This piece is Mint and glowing. Next is 9x12” premium sheet picturing and describing the use of the item. Reverse pictures same premium again plus four other 1948 Ralston offerings. Folded as issued. Top edge has small .5” tape repair. VF. Last is 7x7.5” Sunday comic pages ad for the same premium. VF.
