This 1949 Peter Pan peanut butter premium is called the “Electronic Television Picture Ring.” The ring is in beautiful NM condition and this example has interior picture of Sky King still light sensitive so after light exposure it glows in the dark. This image is rarely found in still glowing condition. The ring base depicts both his plane and his horse and the ring top has red plastic compartment covered with brass hinged lid holding a magnifying glass at the center. The compartment is intended to be used to display each of the four cardboard photos that had to be developed by the recipient. All four photos are here. Three have Exc. contrast (Penny, Jim, and Martha) while Clipper has light contrast. In addition, the rarely seen 3.75x5” instruction sheet is here. Original folds as issued with some tiny edge tears and bit of edge tanning. Mailer has small wear on label at left from the box being opened. A complete premium and the still capable of glowing Sky King image makes this a rarity.
