Item Description
Lot of three 1940s figures. First two are pair of approx. 8.75" tall nicely carved and painted figures depicting Blondie and Dagwood. Figures have had their feet nailed to painted wooden bases and are finely detailed, including Dagwood's trademark tuft of hair. Figures have some scattered dust soiling and Dagwood has glue staining to hand holding pipe (which is missing end w/bowl). Dagwood is Fine/VF, Blondie is VF/Exc. Figures come w/4.75" long by 3-7/8" tall painted and glazed ceramic figurine of Blondie and Dagwood's dog Daisy. Figure is from licensed King Features Syndicate set but matches the wooden folk figures nicely. Glaze has some aging but figurine is VF/Exc. overall.
