Item Description
Lot of four, including two wind-up music boxes featuring Charles Schulz's beloved "Peanuts" character Snoopy. First was made in Italy by Anri, ©1968 United Features Syndicate. 4.5" dia. by 4.5" tall "Snoopy World War I Flying Ace" depicts Snoopy w/aviator cap, goggles, scarf and holding baton. He stands atop base w/war ruins including broken wall, barbed wire and doughboy helmet. Plays "It's A Long Way To Tipperary" as noted by label on underside. Working and NM. Second music box measures 4.75" dia. by 8" tall and again features Snoopy in aviator gear as he sits atop his doghouse (w/RAF flight logo decals). Schmid, ©1968 United Features Syndicate. Complete w/Schmid string tag, which shows aging/wear. Music function no longer works and box shows lt. wear/aging. VF overall. Comes w/pair of 3.5" dia. by 5" tall alarm clocks featuring same classic two bell design w/same image of Snoopy w/animated arms on clock face. Blessing, ©1970 United Features Syndicate. Two color varieties (green/pink and blue/orange). Scattered aging to gold luster metal pieces. Green/pink has some scratching at center of plastic face cover. Both clocks work. Fine-VF overall.
