Item Description
Smallest 1.5"/largest 1.75". First two read "Another Zionist Hooligan For Soviet Jewry". The first carries initials of a Jewish Defense League front group named Student Activists For Soviet Jewry. The second reads "Achdut-Unity" meaning labor unity. Third reads "I Am A Zionist Hoodlum". Although not identified as such this design was very likely produced for and used by the Jewish Defense League. On the master example of this button in the Levin collection he noted "NYC/4/78/250" (meaning only 250 were produced). Fourth reads "The People Of Israel Secure Jewish Activist Movement" with image of globe and ribbon with text in Hebrew. Very faint light grey spots noticeable in background at extreme edges. VF. Last reads "Professionals For Soviet Jewry" and "Dare We Remain Silent?" with Star of David at center reading "Let My People Go". Light brown spotting around perimeter seen mostly in white fields. Center remains clean. Fine. All are Exc. to NM unless noted. Comes with Hake's COA.
