Item Description
Large and impressive 22" tall figure by Disney sculptor Kent Melton was custom made for a collector in 1988. Underside of one foot bears Melton's signature and small "©1988" text. Bosko was created by animators Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising, first appearing in 1929. He was the first recurring character in Leon Schlesinger's cartoon series, and was the star of over 30 Looney Tunes shorts released by Warner Bros. Figure has .25" paint flake to back of head and shows typical wear to white painted areas at shoulders and hips from movement. Still displays Exc. This very figure sold at auction in 2010 for $2,457. Unique, one-of-a-kind piece featuring a great depiction of this historic character.
