Pair of 12.75x21" aged mats each have three 4-5/8x6-1/8" openings, each w/separate acetate cel mounted in opening. These animation models cels were produced by Fleischer Studios for their 1939 animated film "Gulliver's Travels" and these were displayed in the Fleischer offices as such. Each cel has additional acetate cover. First display contains individual cels for characters "Sneak, Snoop" and "Snitch," w/each character's name inked below at corner. Mat has "Gulliver's Travels" name in white ink at lower right. First and second opening in mat now connected as thin piece between is missing. Second display has "Incidental Characters" and "Gulliver's Travels" text in white ink at lower left/right. Cels show broad-chested guardsman w/axe, two Lilliputian townspeople and tailor character. Display matts had/have aged tape at margins and this has caused staining/residue along border margins. Mats have obvious aging/wear and are Good/VG. Cels remain clean and Exc.
